The ancient age begins with the dawn of civilization.
Global Ecological Disaster
Also called the Great Ecological Change and simply the Ecological Disaster, this was a period when Felas' climate shifted drastically and inland regions dried up across the continents. People fled to coastal regions, the major cultural shifts creating many of the modern peoples today. The exact length varied between continents and regions, but the generally agreed-upon span is PG 5,500 - 3,500. When precipitation levels rose and inland became more fertile again, many peoples explored to reclaim their ancestral homelands.
Classic History
The classic age begins with the Age of Discovery, modern humans developing safer deep-sea travel and learning to utilize the Intercontinental Current. The khokan of northeast Kvolsum were the first to discover a different continent, meeting the erylai of the Ussiar tropics in the PG 2,200s. Trade routes were established, and the region would become the wealthiest by PG 956, the dawn of the Steel Age.
Nami Colonization of Ussiar
In History, pushed by the Empire in modern times, the classical age begins in PG 476, when the first nami explorers landed on Ussiar shores. Within 10 years, multiple nami powers of the time began to set their sights on the new land. It was temperate, but didn't get as cold as it could in Namrok. Different erylai peoples reacted differently to these new humans: along the coasts northwest of the Silver Peaks, they were generally welcoming and helped them build their first villages; in the northeast, clans were generally more aggressive, suspecting the nami were going to keep asking for more if they gave in. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened: by the end of the PG 400s the northwestern coasts were being colonized, nami either driving out the local authority "peacefully" or invading with force. Colonies eventually would reach across the northwestern region of Ussiar, staying close to the coasts early on but over time expanding inland.
The most powerful states during the "Golden Age of Colonization" (PG 450-380) were: Siero in central Namrok and Æmia in the southeast. In Ussiar erylai generally didn't rule in large states. Especially in the western temperate regions, it was typical for people to be organized instead into independent city-states primarily based off clan lineages. The nami states claimed that because the people didn't have "proper leadership", they would take over as kings and dictate their traditional councils. Some erylai clans came together to play by the nami's rules, even when they started twisting the contract in their favor.
The Danarsi Archipelago
Nami discover the archipelago west of Kvolsum, far enough from the Current to escape notice until then, in PG 196. A ship was blown off-course by a magic-storm, and its crew shipwrecked on one of the islands.

Ulprugo
The modern age of Felas begins in PG 42, with the establishment of Ulprugo, the Imperial Capitol in Danarsi. Its capitol, Ninevkar, had become a powerful trading hub between the western islands and the "modern world". The Empire advertised Ulprugo as the perfect place for one to rebuild their lives, starting a sponsor program in PG 18 where nami could travel to the island, their first few years entirely paid for by the state. In reality, they tricked people into signing labor contracts - slavery. Ulprugo expanded with time, more yoia tribes being torn from their homes and forced to live under the Empire's control.
