Element of Fire

Fire magic includes elements like lightning and lava, and some cultures combine fire and light. It's used to cook food, heat homes, and aid in crafts such as smithing and glass-blowing. When compared to Light, Fire can be seen as specifically the heat from a flame. Magic fire does not spread outside the magician's control, and cannot be extinguished unless the spell ends. Some spells allow for magic-fire to last without concentration, but a spell will always end if the magician is unconscious.

Philosophy of Fire

PHILOSOPHY: Passion
ORGAN: Skin

Fire teaches the magician not to fear their emotions, as their spells can be affected by them; at the same time, they are taught not to let their emotions control them. One must embrace their feelings and take pride in knowing who they are. Their casting stances involve quick and confident movement.

Fire's symbolic organ is the skin, from body heat.

Fire wizards tend to have a reputation among the mundane for being loyal, short-tempered, patient, and over-emotional.

Fire Burnout

Fire Burnouts occur when a magician's spell backfires due to an emotional outburst. A Burnout is considered the greatest backfire, one that always results in death. When a magician triggers a Fire Burnout, they are burned alive from the inside. Their body bursts into flame and disintergrates into ash in the span of a a minute.
